About Us

Steve Thorne started Pace FC in 2000 for his son Sam and his friends, as it was too late in the pre season for them to get into any of the local teams. 2003/4 saw two under eight sides and three under nine sides and four under 10's sides competing in the Eastleigh & District Mini League. The club continued to grow and in 2004/5 we entered two under 8 sides, two under 9 sides, three under 10 sides, four under 11 sides, and an under 12 side. 2006 saw the club grow further and develop a partnership with Testwood Sports College which is our base for training and tyro matches and now a recently formed merger with Totton & Eling FC (2008), establishing Pace Youth as their feeder club, allowing players to potentially progress into adult football at a high standard takes the club on further. 2008/9 see the club continue to go from strength to strength with over 20 teams. Sponsorship has also been obtained to enable the club to develop its 'Elite' section. - The Club is administered by a Committee and is funded by players subscriptions, sponsorship and occasional fund-raising events - such as the annual Pace Youth Tournament. We run mini-soccer teams at every age group from Under 8’s to Under 10’s and 11-a-side teams from Under 11’s to Under 15’s. We also provide ‘fun football’ for Under 6’s and Under 5’s - 'Pace Mini's'
